Hey, I have an electrical Roland piano with MIDI connection, and I have the USB cable which I use already to record music from my piano. However I can't seem to play MIDI files to my piano, so could you help?
You need MIDI editing software. I recommend Anvil Studio. Also, make sure that the MIDI synthesizer is set to the USB to MIDI cable.
@Mrs. Weird Name (O_____O): I'll get working on it soon.

Thanks! I'll try it as soon as I gather the un-laziness to bring my computer to my piano

Is it possible to simply write an MIDI file or are they like "õL_^érËÍ4åBûÔ¸ª‡+ãXnP¡m±¹+ŠUý¶š·¡÷«q´ö¯G¹[miLšˆe¾"? That was a bit of a .zip file, btw.

They are like your example, but there are programs to compose them, like Anvil Studio.

Like your example, though after opening one with Notepad++ I do see a pattern of sorts. It'd be ridiculously hard to write one in a text editor, still
I love MIDI music from old DOS games, Tyrian is one with lots of good tunes but I'll pick just two as to not give you much work to do

IIRC the Tyrian MIDIs I have are in MIDI format 2 (the de-facto standard is 1), not sure if that'll be a problem for your keyboard

I <3 video game MIDIs too, I need to record Doom E1M1 soon.
Sadly, they keyboard can only do GM1 (General MIDI 1) and XGlite, so I can't record those. D:
I do have a soundfont player on my computer, and one of the soundfonts I have is GM3, I'll see how it sounds....

Doom? Awesome, I played that a lot as a kid (4 years old) too
I'll see if I can find a way to convert them to MIDI Format 1, I'm sure there is a way.
EDIT: Done
