These are the Weekly Scratcher Interview questions. Every week we interview a scratcher and post the interview in the paper. You do NOT have to fill these out to apply for the job. Only answer these questions if I gave you a message saying that you were chosen for a weekly scratcher interview.
Question 1:
When did you start scratch, and how did you find out about it?
Question 2:
How did you come up with your username?
Question 3:
How do you plan on expressing your talents through scratch?
Question 4:
How do you come up with ideas for Scratch projects?
Question 5:
Who's your favorite scratcher, and why?
Question 6:
What effects has scratch had on you?

When did you start scratch, and how did you find out about it?
I started Scratching a little over a year ago after my pal' showed me around.
How did you come up with your username?
It was fairly simple but turned out to be a pretty cool username for me being a newbie at the time: I was sitting at my desk and had my iPad on my right who I had named Steve and it came to me, I'd be my iPad. For a while, I acted as if I we're my iPad and still do as a joke, and let people believe what they want.
How do you plan on expressing your talents through scratch?
Scratching is one of my talents, so I express myself on Scratch through being creative mostly; letting my creative self lead me.
How do you come up with ideas for Scratch projects?
Now a days, I tend to come up with projects based on something that I'm into at the time, but occasionally something inspires me and I jump on it!
Who's your favorite scratcher, and why?
This is a tricky one because everyone has their own opinion on what really matters; some judge based on programming and others on friendliness. Many different Scratchers (some unknowingly) have mentored me and reached out to me the most, so it's hard to pick one. I think all Scratchers have the potential to be really great at all of the different aspects of Scratch, and if you treat them like that; they might just be.
What effects has scratch had on you?
I'd say the two biggest effects that Scratch has had on me are: One, it's given me inspiration to dive further into programming and two, it's taught me how to maximize the productivity, enjoyment and diversity of an online community.
Thanks for the interview - be sure to drop me a line when this is published!

Okay, sure! Thanks for answering my questions! I was eager to see what you would say.
It should be published on Tuesday, if I can get all the work done. No one has volunteered to help out around here yet, and my brother turned down my offer. Let me know if there's anyone you request for the job.
PS. You got the Smiley plague!!! XD Haha!

thanks. I suppose my brother was a bit misleading. He said 3 was enough.

Can I help this "Paper"?

how abt an application form which they can fill in and submit?
that way, this newspaper collab will be more organised. You also can refer to other collabs (they dont have to be newspaper collabs) and see how they operate.
... And I just noticed that there is a new topic: Welcoming Commitee. Did you get the idea from Scratch Chatter? Not that i mind... but...?

It's not new, and no. I find things by myself.

I think it is always safer to be in more than one of the same type of collaborations, in case one kicks me out....so.......
Can I be the writer? You give me the reports, and I put them into paragraphs for you. However, I'm in Scratch Chatter too, so I might spend less time on this collaboration, although I will try to finish everything on time. So... Can I join?

Okay. But I only have one more article in this issue unless more news comes, and I'm still collecting info. But thanks! That's awesome!!! You don't have to start working until the first issue comes out.
