a is how you jump????? I think it should be easier control like the up arrow or the space so its easier to understand controls.
Its based on the gameplay of Super Mario Bros. Thats cool, but I was expecting more originality
I'm changing it to up pretty soon, and I'm also going to add a storyline and more types of enemies. The game is far from done

When I played around, I notice the frog and house were cut out from a picture, it looks kind of weird mixed up with the scratch-drawn back round, maybe you could change that around
The story is cool, and made it more interesting when you said it in that awesome intro, but the story is the same as the princess and the frog one so I have to take off points.
Even though the back round mixed with the real picture looks weird, the back round alone looks so cool!
I feel like the moving of the frog could be better.

It seems that you're new, so no hard feelings, the game was still awesome

Thanks for the feedback--I very much appreciate it! I spend a rather obsessive amount of time creating the various backgrounds, so I'm glad they worked for you. You're right re: the log cabin especially: I wish I'd had a little more time to make more scratch-drawn sprites (e.g. such as those in the flame animation) rather than skimping along with internet images I modified in GIMP, but I needed to meet a deadline for class.
How would you recommend modifying the frog movement? Is there a particular script that's superior to the basic 'when sprite receives the left arrow key stimulus move sprite this many movements to the left'?
Heh--yes, I'm very shiny new: just downloaded Scratch a week ago last Friday, and finished tweaking the project in question Tuesday morning. For my first week of doing any programming whatsoever (aside from the basic html any blogger picks up) I'm pretty pleased with myself.
I'd love to see a remix where someone takes the story further--what happens to the frog after it transforms? What adventures await it going forward? What else could it possibly transform into? Perhaps I'll revisit it in a few months; this week, however, C awaits!
Thanks again,
J.J.

Can you rate my OS, DeltaWays V2?
7.5/10
-I would like more things to do: maybe internet or a word processing thing.
- To write a lot of text, you used scratch, (for example: the welcome sign) To make it more authentic, maybe take more screen shots of the windows or mac log in.
-more back rounds.
-More games
Really I want more features to make the project more entertaining.

Thanks! I'll put those features in DeltaWays V3, though I DID put Internet in this version, you just may not have seen it.

not sure if you still do this, but you remember that panther game i showed you (check the first page of this thread) well I finally got around the no-clone problem, and recreated my Simcity game for scratch! Play Here
it took forever to work out how to transfer it.
Advantages:
+ it would be possible to create a save system. The clone system before would have made this difficult.
Disadvantages:
+ Lags a lot more than Panther version
+ Less space (if I made more tiles the game would lag EVEN MORE)

Please don't necropost. This topic hasn't been posted on for 8 months, and there are a lot of other project reviewers out there.
