We've already had a graphics contest, so next is an advertising contest! Everyone who signed up for PTS (advertising or not) gets a link assigned to them, and you have to advertise the link as much as they can in as many places as you can! I can see on my bit.ly account how much traffic each link is getting, and the person with the most traffic to their link in 4 days wins 1000 PTS pts! The links are:

funelephant: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes1
lallaway12: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes2
Thrystor: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes4
jTron: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes8
wolfdude999: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes16
Pants98: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes32
Happylander: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes64
berberberber: http://bit.ly/scratchthemes128

The clock starts now! (4 days left!)

They all lead to here.

Where else would they lead? On my bit.ly account, I can see how much traffic each individual link is getting, so I can know who will be the winner of the advertising contest. So, Pants98, you have to advertise the link http://bit.ly/scratchthemes32 as much as you can within the next 4 days.  smile

You will have to use your own graphics, but all you need to do is change the ScratchSkin (see post #66 on how to do this) and change a few measurements in the fixBlockLayout methods of the appropriate classes in the Scratch-Blocks object (trial and error).  smile

Try Helios Paint (google it)

You just have to manipulate the jimber into the right conjunction with the first tacklette. Then, manifestate the other tacklette to circumlocute the tinder. Wait, what were we talking about again?

Re: Themed versions of Scratch!

Sorry to bring up the credit discussion, but Bingo was actually the first mod to use a skin switcher. It didn't work without Dev on, but it wit Dev on it did.

This argument is SO page 2.  roll

And being the skeptic I am, I checked my copy of Bingo. It lets you create your own skin and update Bingo with it, but it doesn't have pre-made skins with a selector.

Why are we still talking about this? PTS won't even have a selector!

Anyway, everyone can expect to see the first Ideas Contest coming VERY soon!  big_smile

I can join I'll do graphics + ideas.

I gaze off into the boundless skyline, noteblock choirs playin in the sunshine, turn round pick up my sword and wield the blade that once forced evil mobs to yield, if this battle shall leave me slain, I know Herobrine still calls my name, better just take a stand, that was when I ruled the land.

Re: Themed versions of Scratch!

the default background could be a nature-ish background. I can do that.

Edit: this could be my entry for the ideas contest.

It was removed in 1.3.
In 1.2.1 it's there and works.

Cool! Though you might want to remove the text in the middle, otherwise the default sprite may obstruct it.
