My friend and I recently started RetroSlugGaming, a channel dedicated completely to old fashioned(and quite old, too), retro games.
It seems like every gaming channel of Youtube is just gameplay of Call of Duty, over and over. Nobody really plays those old arcade and retro games that we all grew up playing. Our channel is dedicated to not just playing one, but a variety of different retro games, and not just speed-runs, but also walkthroughs, tutorials, and funny videos. So go check us out!

Yeah, Metal Slug's always cool. Do you have any plans for any other games?
Yeah, of course. In the near future, we'll be uploading stuff from Megaman, Super Mario Bros. 3, Dr. Mario, Bomberman, SNK vs. Capcom, and some games being played on an actual NES.

Loved some Megaman back in the day. Looking forward to see where you'll go.

My prayers have been answered.
If I were you, I would also play games from the SNES and Genesis.

Yeah, hopefully this will be a resource for gamers who want a look back at great games from the '80s and '90s.
And yeah, there we'll definitely be playing games from old Nintendo consoles, like SNES and N64, and we will be playing Sonic and some other classic Genesis games.

Two recommendations, in case you weren't aware: Super Metroid and Earthbound. Still probably my favorite games of all time. These made my childhood.

We wanted to do a variety of games, including games like Super Metroid. However, beating the game would take ages, and we don't want to fill the channel with several parts making up the entire play-through. However, we'll still probably have clips of Super Metroid gameplay in some form, probably of me dying several times

The game's not that long, but I understand. Man, one of my favorite things to do in any game is still sequence breaking. It's a shame that developers try to iron that kind of thing out of their games nowadays, when it adds such fun and depth.
I think the only modern game I've ever sequence broken on was Borderlands. Cars were the ultimate sequence breaking tool in that game.

Uploading a Dr. Mario video today, and in the next week we'll be uploading videos of Super Mario Bros., Megaman, and more Metal Slug.
We'd appreciate subscribers, comments, and likes
