Oh, do you have the score? I'll see if I can play it. I'm still in grade 2 of violin so I might not be able to, but if it's just a few notes, I'll probably be able to work it out

I happened to find a video last night with the strings/brass section of "All You Need is Love" isolated. Maybe it will be of help.

We need the brass intro and the little melody for the chorus.
We can deal with only having one violin, just play the main note of each string part and I think it will sound fine.
I'll try and learn the guitar solo.
And then we will just need a main vocalist and some background singers.

Well, if there wasn't any piano in the original, maybe we shouldn't incorporate it in the final mix, since we're trying to do accuracte covers. Maybe it'll sound all right, though - we'll see how it turns out.

Meanwhile, I believe DIY will be recording the lead guitar parts, including the guitar solo, and I think jji should do the vocals, since he typically sings John's songs.

I think every band member should sing backing vocals for this song, since every Beatle sang backing vocals on the original track.

We should probably focus on "Yesterday" first, though. Jji, as long as you have a violin, do you think you can try to learn the strings part for "Yesterday"? Maybe we can get locker99 as a second violinist - he performed violin on one of Frozen Coco's songs, and we are good friends.

Probably. I just thought that recording with an actual violin would result in a more natural feel, but we can try doing both and compare. Or whichever one will be easier.

I've received a message from DIY, and he said that we shouldn't exactly be focusing on "All You Need is Love" as of right now, because we still have our first single and the album to focus on. Also, he's a bit disconcerted on wiimaster trying to join the band. He says unless wii can do some synth work, we got everything covered.

You can still be the art designer, wii. 

Ok... its still a little disappointing, I learned all the piano and everything.

Double Bass = Bass guitar turned -90 degrees. So I can play the bass guitar I just dont own onw. To be honest a double bass sounds way better and since this is a tribute band it would be better it wasn't just the same thing. It needs to be a bit unique, y'know?

I would agree with you, and I do realise that they both have the same tuning. DIY however, wants to stay true to the original sound. Could you give us a sample so it's easier to decide?
