Scratch and my Guitar

I am new to Scratch and after playing around with it for awhile I got excited... I am using a Mac and I have "Garage Band" so I plugged the guitar in to the computer to find out if Scratch can "hear me" and then see what (if anything) Scratch can do with my recordings.  I was able to record and playback the recorded files...

but here is my question...

Can Scratch compare my played note to the recorded note... Can a single note from my guitar be used to compare a "true/false" statement when compared to a recorded note?  The input would not come from the keyboard or the mouse... it would come from my guitar...  My goal would be to teach myself musical scales using Scratch...

I'm using Scratch (1.4) on a Mac (Lion)

I don't think this is possible? There are no blocks for it...

Re: Scratch and my Guitar

youd need to do some crazy modifications to either your guitar or the program

Re: Scratch and my Guitar

If you are Interested in making scratch play guitar, you could hook some servos to the Hammer Jammer , a product of Guitammer.
