So the Olympics are now over, but there were some historic performances by some of the athletes.

What was your favorite moment of the 2012 London Summer Olympics? It can include anything regarding the opening or closing ceremony, or anything related to any of the olympic sports.

My favorite was McKayla Maroney's near-perfect vault in the team finals of womens gymnastics.

When the American flag fell down during the Star Spangled Banner. Was after the "gave truth to the night / that our flag was still there" bit, too.

Taekwondo was my favorite.

I also really liked Japanese men's soccer.

And Japanese men's gymnastics.

I mostly watched gymnastics for this guy though.
