Alright, cool. I kinda have the same problem.

And that's pretty good, but I'm still not sure about it; it makes people think of acoustic music immediately, which we may or may not necessarily be doing.
I do like the idea of antiquated radio programs, however. Some of the ones in the Wikipedia categories that I thought were cool were Against the Storm, The Fall of the City, Information Please, Let's Pretend, The Majestic Theater of the Air, The Passing Parade, and Speed Gibson of the International Secret Police.

Last bar of chorus is C# Ab F# F#7, did I forget the 7th in my recording? Also, that sounds pretty great, your vocals have much better range than mine :p

As to our name, I found on the wiki list a show called Quiet, Please which is kind of like a self-deprecatingly humorous suspenseful dark horror show, and I thought the name sounded cool and ironic considering we make music, and also had an intriguing background.

Last, I recently joined the praise band at our school which plays music for mass, so I might need to keep my guitars at the school all week, but I can see if I can keep one at home and one at school. If worst comes to worst, just load me up full of stuff I need to write and record and I'll bust it all out when I bring my guitar back home for the weekend :p

In the meantime I'll try to write some lyrics for verses.

I came up with a chord progression that we could perhaps use for something.

thanks, I'm not good at writing stuff that doesn't make you want to cut yourself to some extent :p

so I have the guitar track recorded, but my piano tragically has stopped working because my jack is a piece of crud and keeps slipping out of the port. So I don't know if I'll be able to get it to stay or not, my dad might have to help me sauter it or something D:
