how do you put pictures onto your posts and put links onto pictures need to know

You'll need to get the code for the image first. That I don't know how to do, but I happen to know what you do next. Once you have the code, just put [img][/imgs] tags around it (though without the s) and your good!
I've never done this before, but this is how I think that your supposed to put a link in a picture. First of all, you'll need to put the destination's URL in this code:
Code:
[url=Put the URL here.][/url]
From there, just put the image's code with the [img] tags in between the [url]tags and your good!

To get the code for an image, upload it on a site like tinypic or imgur and then copy-and-paste the url it gives you like so:
[img]The URL goes here[/img*]
Just remove the asterisk (this little thing: *) and you've got an image!
Other websites you can use to upload images:
