Oh, and the mod will soon implement Emerald tools and Armour, as well as Emerald Apples.

I suggest emeralds break down into nuggets and those are used in making the emerald apples.

Maybe emerald could be more common in the sky.....

It's not that hard to crack Minecraft given the game files and MCP, so really this just makes it easy for anyone to crack, not just people with knowledge of Java.

I just sailed over 5 kilometers to find a newly generated mountain biome, but I found something better: A mushroom island.

Minecraft breaks for me when I try to download it.  Can anyone help me?  I log in, it tells me I'm not premium (which I'm not) so I hit 'Play Demo'.  Then the Done Loading screens shows up (I don't know if it skipped the other parts or just did them fast) and doesn't go anywhere.  I've tried deleting .minecraft, reinstalling, and I've tried the .exe and .jar versions.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

I at least expected it to be hidden considering that they care enough about buy-only to shut down the minecraftforfree thing.  Anyway, fixing the problem now?

They challenged them to a game of Quake... Mojang is pretty much a laid back company, which is awesome.

I don't think you can play the downloaded MC demo version. Sorry :-/
