I don't play cello, but I like the cello. It's my favorite string instrument. I play trombone, which I kind of view as the wind instrument equivalent of the cello, since their ranges are similar. What made you decide to start the cello?

Well, my mom used to play it, and I used to play guitar, so that means Ive already gotten used to getting blisters on my fingers and stuff. So I went over to the local Music and Arts, and I asked if I could try one out. I was really good and was able to play a short toon and get good at in in a minute.

Oh cool. It is interesting how relatively easy it is to pick up new instruments if you already know one. I wish you luck! Does your school have an orchestra?
