Here's my entry: Link1. User friendliness 10/10
2. Glitches bugs 1/10 (Slope detection is way off. Can jump through platforms.)
3. Efficiency 6/10 (Sensors used, and are a bit off.)
4. Scripts used 9/10
5. Interface 5/10 (Nothing too special. Just two colors.)
Final Score: 31!
For the most part, the gravity definitely is comforting. The only real thing that throws this project off is your collision detection. Work on that and you're golden! Thanks! Yeah, the glitches just kill it. I've updated it a bit and will continue to as the other contestants work on their projects. I can't wait to see what everyone else makes!
EDIT: about the color: i had a nice green gradient background... I don't know what happened to it, I'll update it now...
Alrighty (:

I'm working on a project that I think will qualify. The only problem is you don't jump, you bounce.

Here is mine, http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Blitz_/2709139 you have to download it for the slope detection and others to work...

One week? When it comes to complex projects, you probably will need more than a week. I suggest that on extremely difficult challenges, you can give Scratchers a bonus day or two because some of us have a limited amount of time each day on the computer.
Anyway, sadly, I won't accept your challenge due to several things. Right now, I am helping Shrey15 with a project, and I'm in a collab with ZombieHappines, and possibly a third scratcher soon, and I'm working on a project of my own. My hands are tied up, so maybe I can try your challenge after awhile, but not now. Sorry.I think I'll just wait until all contestants are finished with their projects. I'll accept up to 10 entries, then when all of them are finished I'll set up a leader board. Right now I have about 3 or 4 entrants, so when you're finished with your projects, feel free to join if there are spots available.
I just finished helping the two different scratchers, and then there's a project I'm working on that is going to take a long to to make at the pace I'm going at.
If your wondering, I'm making a break-out styled game and I've already made the menu and most of the mechanics/art of it, but I still need to create 15 more levels, adding up to a total of 18. I'll be including a couple of types of bricks that I haven't seen anywhere on scratch before, for example, a triangle-shaped brick, and a key/door system. A certain block will have a key on it, and when destroyed, it will give you a key, which then can be used to open a door. I'm also thinking about adding special effects, but for right now, it's going along fine.
Update: If this contest goes on for a couple more weeks, then I might join, but right now, I'm still working on my break-out styled project.

Can you make a new one now?
If you're talking to me, no. I'm still working on my break-out styled project.
