if you cant tell already, the logo and white bars at the top are missing and all the buttons have lost their gradient. i had this happen once before, what causes it?

You should see mine. The Scratch Logo becomes a Gobo, the search button becomes the Scratch Logo, and the menu bar is like yours. hmm

But after I cleared the cache, it was gone! smile

Of course, when you cleared the cache, it was gone. Because, the menu bar only appear when you setup and it's don't appear because you cleared.

Did you try refreshing it?

What I find is that when the page takes a long time to load, it sometimes doesn't load things like gradients and images (and sometimes it doesn't load the CSS at all, leaving me with a black and white page).

yes, i refreshed it, and it disappeared after a moment. like i said, this only happens occasionally, not all the time
