Ok so I am running scratch on Ubuntu 12.04. I was working on a project for hours, and put it in fullscreen mode. I clicked the back button, and the scratch window was black and unresponsive. Is there anyway to get my project back? And before you ask i DID save but it was a very early version and i did a LOT of work since then.

Thanks for offering, but I think I can remake it. i was just wondering if there was some cache file somewhere that I could get it back, or an auto save or something. Interestingly enough, when my cursor is in the window it turns into the scratch cursor and when I click and drag on certain areas the cursor goes away and comes back when I release it.

ya, that happens to me alot to.
OVer all I think that an important lesson for scratch is to save frequently. Every time you have to save it you should.

Whatever new version of scratch they are developing, they should include an autosave that saves every 5-10 minutes. Scratch 2.0 has been in development over 3 years so it better be good.

3 years? No. 1.5 years I think.
And I hate auto-saving. What if I want to try out a new script and then delete the old script, and found that the new one didn't work?
I'm assuming that auto save prevents undeleting.

And no, you can't get the project back.
