Writing glitch

I've found a bunch of stuff about the writing glitch and so far, here is what I found.

1. The first thing that I have noticed is that when the text disappears, the text is still there. If you go to edit the sprite, if you than go to edit the sprite, than you'll see that the text is still there, but you can't see it.
2. The writing glitch is very unlikely to happen if you have less than 6 projects. How do I know? Well, it's never happened to me when I had less than 7 projects and as I create more projects, the writing glitch is happening more and more often.
3. When the writing glitch hits you, all of the text dosen't disappear at once, but when you save your project, that's when all of your text disappears.

I hope that all of this is useful and that some day in the future, there will be no writing glitch in scratch.

Re: Writing glitch

I'm still not entirely sure what you're trying to point out here, could you explain it a bit better to me?

Re: Writing glitch

It sounds like you have the disappearing text bug, which is caused by Squeak running low on memory. You can read up on it here.

I was trying to help the Scrath team get rid of this bug by giving them some info.
