And I don't have a tablet, so I can't draw by hand, either.

Quick Facts, Book 1

1. Male monkeys lose the hair on their heads in the same way men do.

2. A completely blind chameleon will still take on the colors of its environment.

3. The famous aphrodisiac 'Spanish Fly' is made from dried beetle remains!

4. X-rays of the Mona Lisa show that there are three completely different versions of the same subject, all painted by Leonardo Da Vinci, under the final portrait.

7. Blue eyes are the most sensitive to light, dark brown the least sensitive.

8. If you cut off a snail's eye, it will grow a new one.

10. Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.

11. 80% of millionaires drive used cars.

12. While 7 men in 100 have some form of color blindness, only 1 woman in 1,000 suffers from it.

13. A chicken will lay bigger and stronger eggs if you change the lighting in such a way as to make them think a day is 28 hours long!

14. The placement of a donkey's eyes in its' heads enables it to see all four feet at all times.

15. In Ancient Greece, if a woman watched even one Olympic event, she was executed.

16. There was no punctuation until the 15th century.

17. Most car horns honk in the key of 'F'.

18. In Michigan, a woman isn't allowed to cut her own hair without her husband's permission.

19. In Texas it's illegal to put graffiti on someone else's cow.

20. It's illegal in Alabama to wear a fake moustache that causes laughter in church.

All facts are from NiceFacts

That's it for book 1!

I know why XD

Also I have a poem i wrote, I think i am meant to post it here?? -

                                            The ghostly child

She glows with a dull light from within,
And tattered petticoats and plaits
flutter in a non existent breeze.
Her delicate feet rest an inch above the ground,
Her eyes are young yet old beyond age
And her lips move a moment before they sound

She laughs in an echoing way
And ancient eyes glow bright
" Who are you to challenge me?"
she asks in a childish voice both
curious and menacing. She laughs and
goes to touch my brow.

And then i see behind the facade,
i see whats really there
and i am scared
and i am scared
and i am sca- " meow"

Puzzled i look around
i look around and see...
My cat? The thing it screams
the most inhuman sound and
glows and glows and glows
until there is nothing but the unbearable light.

I flinch and turn away and she is gone.
The slightest murmur in the air the only
sign of her existence.

i fall back
and wake
and wonder... Was it just a dream or was it real?
"Meow"

Can someone edit it?

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

Another post with example of writing:
He lay, face in the cold bedrock, not that he noticed the temperature. He could only see a sliver of light. His mind grasped at it like a child would with a favourite toy on the top shelf. His mind booted up, taking precious moments. One leg, mangled, lay constricted by rocks. The others bashed but surviving. The streaker drones aligned over his head. He felt their' metallic victory as if it was his own.....
Ran out of characters- awwww!

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

Please note my example of writing was taken from the trilogy i am writing. Writing a science fiction trilogy is very time-consuming, so if faced with a deadline, an extract from my currently un-named works may be what you get. (Or a rip-off)

Re: Bookworm Studios: The new and unique Scratch Collaboration!

I'm assuming this is the poem?

The ghostly child

She glows with a dull light from within,
And tattered petticoats and plaits
flutter in a non existent breeze.

Her eyes are young yet old beyond age
her lips and tongue move a moment before they sound

and I am sca- "meow"

Puzzled I look around
I glance around and see...
My cat? The thing it screams
the most inhuman sound and
glows and glows and gets so bright-
until there is nothing but the unbearable light. [It seems like this poem sometimes rhymes even though elsewhere it would appear to be free verse. For example, bright/light in this stanza, and somewhere above there is ground/sound. That may be simply a coincidence.]

I flinch, turn away and she is gone.
The slightest murmur in the air,
the only sign of her existence.

I fall back
and wake in wonder...
Was it a dream, or was it real?
"Meow"

[I am having some trouble understanding what is going on in the poem. Could you please elaborate? I got lost when the cat meowed.]

Blue is re-wording, and my notes.
Red is grammar.
Green ins relating rhyme and verse.

I'm not sure, it's meant to be it scares it away or something... I am not happy with this poem. I'll see if Humhum can delete it cause it's bad. It was alright in my head but got kinda mangled on paper D:

Also humhum, I meant in yourfan fic it is not an entire story, rather then having a begining and end ect. If that makes any sense...
