Okay, I'm going to make different phoenix sprites, because I don't know what type of backgrounds we need (hills, berberberber's style). If we make it scroll, I could make the sprites while The Flames do that.

That's stereotyping a bit. There are plenty of males out there who are wonderful artists. 
I like Zangoose for a number of reasons: it's a catferret Pokemon, which is a combination of two of my favorite animals; it is very basic and easy to draw as well as add personality to; it's fierce and brave; it's often underestimated; and also a bit different. I like Eevees too, but I feel that there are just so many Eevee and Eeveelution fans out there that it's hard to be unique.
