I have an awesome game idea for Scratch 2.0! I could use video sensing to simulate sports projects! like for baseball if it saw motion to the right or left it would swing (it would have to be a noticeable motion), and you would move your arm in an arc for pitching. It will be called Motion Sports and have soccer, boxing, baseball, golf, track, Frisbee, and maybe bowling. All these games will be 2D of course and some of them will be more like mini games than the whole sport.

i finished frisbe (without motion yet). it is kinda 3d. I posted a demo on my page. here is the link http:scratch.mit.edu/projects/RoboNeo9/2645753

I am currently doing baseball. I finished the outfield ai. Everything is going perfectly!
Oh Yeah! Forgot to tell you that baseball is going to be a full game!

A mod is an advanced version of scratch. Checkout pantherprogramming.weebly.com
A compiler compiles the scratch file into an standalone exe or something

That sounds like a very creative way to use the new motion controls! It would have made me even more excited for Scratch 2.0 if I had a webcam of any sort!

I don't have a webcam yet but by the time Scratch 2.0 comes out, I probably will. tongue

good idea! I thought about doing volleyball, tennis, or table tennis.
