I posted this on the "What I'm Reading and Playing" page, but should have posted this here first.
Can I suggest an "off-topic discussion" page, because it's hard (for me) to only stick to Scratch-related stuff. There's a "things I'm reading and playing" page, but other than that it's pretty limited. Don't get me wrong, if someone needs help on Scratch I'll assist them the best I can, but I think an off-topic discussion page would be a great addition to the Scratch community.
What does everybody else think?

There used to be the miscellaneous forum, but it got split into the two aforementioned ones because it was too hard to moderate
Oh there was? I just got back into Scratch after about a year break and was never really active on the forums so I'm still trying to figure it out.

Lolwut? It says you registered 2 days ago. Also you have no projects. Please have at least 2 weeks experience with scratch before making multiple suggestions, not 2 days.

Oh sorry about that. I've actually been on here for about 4 years, just made a new username. My old profile is "Footballnut" (http://scratch.mit.edu/users/FootballNut) but was a bit of a wreck and I was busy, so I started a new username.

Well, we also have the "Things I'm Making and Creating" thread that's for non-Scratch stuff.
But as zammer990, we did have a Miscellaneous forums before, but it got to hard too hard to handle, so it was split into the two core ideas intended for Miscellaneous in the first place (which would be things we read/play, or things we make/create). If a certain subject doesn't fit in the forums, you're encouraged to create a Scratch project about it instead.

My argument about that is that for about a lot of the users, nobody will view their projects, so thats sorta not useful

Well, actually, it's possible to get a lot of views quickly, but that requires the project owner being more active in the community. Like in real life, you can't expect everyone to see what you have to share unless you interact with a lot of people.
