What is your favorite video game of 2012?

OCTOBER UPDATE: I believe that it's well enough into the year that I can combine the released and unreleased games together (which I will do soon). Remember to change your answers if you have a new selection of favorite games!  big_smile

NOTE: Everybody now has 3 votes, which includes released AND unreleased games.

What is your favorite game(s) that came out in 2012 so far. Scratch games do NOT count! I know many games are going to release this fall, so your opinions may change.

I think maybe I'll collect this data at the end of the year, and make a project showing what were the top favorite games of Scratchers. That would be pretty cool, right?

But I'd have to sayyy... The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. A great remake of one of the best games ever.  smile

Besides that came out a year ago in 2011.

The game I'm most excited for is Halo 4, but I'd have to say the best game that I've played that came out this year is MineCraft Xbox 360 Edition.

I can predict its probably going to be Pokemon Black/White 2. (If that even comes out this year). But really I dont usually like newer games, the best ones were all made before 2003 except some RPGs on the DS.

Any specific reason you don't prefer newer games? I guess maybe there hasn't been many "original" types of games since '03 because pretty much all genres of gaming (and 3d gaming as well) have been explored by that time.
