Well then, try again! Look at some scratch tutorials and maybe those will help you make a game with really good artwork in it.

Make a game about a boy who likes a girl, and the girl want's him to prove himself, so he has to go around town doing good deeds.

Or you could make one about a brother and sister.
The brother gets kidnapped, and you can play as either the brother or the sister, the brother, trying to escape, and the sister, trying to find him.

I'd say start a series of projects (they don't have to be games) but if you need help, I recommend looking at Tanner-FBI's Cube World scripts. Try not to copy them script for script, but they would give you a good base structure to work with.

start a simple game. like a game where you just jump over things that come at you. then get more complicated. thats what i did
