Hi
In the Scratch editor I noticed that if you play your game in the presentation mode it runs faster than if you're playing it in a mode that displays the blocks palette, scripts area & sprite list. If I upload my game to the Scratch site, is it more likely to run at the faster or slower speed?
Thanks - Gary

presentation mode = flash player speed (roughly)
Not. Even. Close.
In the game I'm developing right now, I find the flash player to be 10x faster then the development environment's full-screen mode.
It really varies based upon the type of project and the scripts you're using.
The best way to be sure is to upload the game and test it.

Thanks Mokat, Wes64 & Boltbait for the replies. I just tried a couple of my existing games in the Java and Flash players and noticed the difference in speed. Flash so much faster. I also noticed that they are buggy in the Java player too!
Thanks - I'm off to upload another game. :-)
