Can't you build like a 1x2 tunnel lined with torches all the way there?  Or perhaps a boat?

I could but it's over 500 blocks away so it is way easier just to run there.

I've been there every summer since i was a baby. It's awesome. I'm going to Port Austin, a small town near Lake Huron that's awesome. My grandma's cottage [where were staying] has Lake Huron infront of it, and it's SO FUN. And alot of my relatives go stay in the neighborhood and there's a awesome pizza place and a candy and a ice cream store in the town. But we have to do a 3 hour car ride to the cottage from Detroit [We are going to Dave and Busters for lunch  ]

Back on topic, What do you half to do to make a texture pack? How much work?

Apparently this year's Minecon is going to be in DISNEYLAND, PARIS.

Well, if I couldn't go to Las Vegas, I definitely won't be able to go to France... but good luck to those few people who can go or at least live closer to there than I do

I think that's pretty dang awesome. There's also going to be a block that lets you use singleplayer commands, and it's intended for adventure mode. It can't be crafted, only obtained by /give. I don't really get it.

And you can choose what superflat worlds are made of

I'm an American and I think they should be held somewhere NOT here.

Though I'd like to go to minecon, I don't think it's fair for people to have to fly all the way to America to see it. They should have a few different ones (like Scratch Day) so everybody can go. Also, more sales on more tickets for more locations. Profit!

And it is fair for all us Americans to have to fly elsewhere to see it?
