I got a warning that said Squeak's memory is low, right when I went into presentation mode. The whole screen went white, and I tried clicking things to fix it. Now my project is just white, and I haven't saved in 2.5 hours.....
Is there any way to exit full screen and save my project?

I'm so sad... This is a project I've been working on for 360 days so far (I checked the file creation), and I'm in the process of polishing it, fixing all the minor details.
So It's going to be hard for me to remember all the small changes I've made in the past 2.5 hours of solid work...
sigh, scratch

That's too bad. It's always important to save often when working on a project. The cause of the white screen was that the project's file size might've been too big (or there might've been some scripts that were too large). Sometimes when I download large projects to look at the scripting, the screen turns white as well. Sadly, the screen doesn't return to normal, and I have to log off or shut down my computer to be able to exit out of that Scratch project.

I feel your pain.
I can't tell you how many times the Scratch editor has crashed on me in the last few days. I've learned to save every few minutes.
I know. And my project takes like a whole minute to save. I spend 25% of my time saving.

goto task manager
goto processes
find "scratch.exe"
and right click
goto set priority
set it to above normal or high
READ THE WARNING
press ok,
do not even try to set it to realtime, it might REALLY make your pc slow
