What if there was a Scratch convention, sort of like Odicon/Anime Con, or one of those video game conventions, or Dr. Who Con? It could be held at MIT, over the summer so people could come and the students weren't there, where Scratch was created (if MIT was okay with that). If there were computers, you could show someone how you created one of your projects first-hand, and the Scratch team could show some Scratch tricks! It would make it possible to meet your favorite Scratchers (if they attend) in a safe place where you parents and friends were there, and you could talk and make suggestions in person. A Scratch convention would be fun for Scratchers of all ages!

We have that, it's called Scratch Day.

Sounds like you're talking about Scratch Day. The one at MIT is pretty big.
