I've been wondering if there is a way to save your project as a flash file, so that you can post them on websites like NewGrounds.
Can you do it now?
Will you be able to in 2.0?
Is the Scratch team thinking about making this possible?
Please answer, and thank you in advance.

Yes, I can (MWA-HAHA), but requires some coding, and expensive software (Flash) (but ask me, I can convert em for you)
It's a similar technique as above (forced, anyway), and I dunno whether it'll be native to 2.0.
No clue.

I'm very curious about how you do this.
Can it be done for any project, like http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/BoltBait/1897019 for example?
Is it hard to do?
Which version of flash is required? I actually own 4.0, would that work?

Yes.
It's a template, but so, not really.
Dunno, but 4.0 isn't enough, probably.

The reason I asked about that game specifically is because it needs to run in Turbo Mode. Is that possible to specify when converting to swf?
I'm 90% sure there is a way to set the .swf file to a turbo mode.

Thank you for the answers, everybody, it really helped.

For real!? That would be great! But, doesn't it take a long time?

It don't need it, repeat loops are atomic.

If all fails you can always make a .swf in Flash that just loads a webpage containing your project.

I don't know how to do that, it sounds interesting. Is it free?

The Scratch Team might include a swf export option in Scratch 2.0... they said they might as far as I know...
