Renamed folders

I have no idea if it's related to scratch, but a bunch of my desktop folders were randomly renamed to "Scratch Project" followed by a number. Is this a known bug?

Re: Renamed folders

I dont think that is caused by Scratch, I bet there's a virus or something. That's very weird.

Re: Renamed folders

it is a known virus, if you are alowed to, search how to go into safe mode on the web and if your parents alow, go into safe mode WITH NETWORKING and download a program called
"bit defender" don't bother buying it if you need to use the free trial and wait for the scan to be complete then uninstall it and restart into normal mod  smile  if anything possible try to look into the folders and see if there is anything suspicious and if there is delete it, viruses copy itself to other things you know, hope this helps ^_^ PS: the scratch projects folder is supposed to be in My documents and if it doesn't work then, i guess you would need to format your hard drive, which would reset your computer to a point where it is as if NOTHING was ever in it except the pre-installed stuff

PSS: can you show a project with a screenshot of the catastrophy?

nothing special about the folders, and it could have also been a mod i was using. I'm experienced with getting rid of viruses and this doesn't seem to be one. nothing harmful hapenned.
