Updating Projects

Hello Scratchers,

I'm new here and just uploaded my first project but after doing so I found some bugs in the game.

Is it possible to update the files on the uploaded project without having to delete the whole project and then re-uploading it again?

Re: Updating Projects

Yep, just re-upload your project with the exact same name and it'll overwrite the existing one. Once you do that, give it some time; sometimes you'll have to wait awhile before seeing any changes.

Actually the changes to the project itself are instant, its the thumbnail that takes forever to update.

Re: Updating Projects

Just open the project and edit it then reupload it BUT BEWARE, DON'T change the name of your project. and when upload is completed, the updated version will replace the old version.

Re: Updating Projects

If you ever want to upload a project, but you want to change the name of the project, then upload it with its original name. From there, go to your project in Scratch and click its name. You should be able to edit its name from there. One thing to remember is that whenever you want to update the project again, you'll have to upload it with the updated name.

I know that your original question has been answered, but I thought that this might help you with future projects when you need to change their name.
