Shape Fixer

So,
I had the idea for a shape fixer.
When you are in the paint editor, but you are sloppy (for example if you draw a sloppy circle), the paint editor will fix it. Now Scratch Admins, you don't have to make that accurate, you don't need it to to find out what shape to correct it to if its SUPER sloppy.
But you should have the paint editor fix it, if it understands well what the shape their trying to draw is.

Feel free to share any suggestions about my idea,
and feel free to be against me idea.

Bye!  big_smile

P.S. There are circle tools, and square tools, but a circle was just an example.
P.P.S. I am not downloading any painting, programs.
P.P.P.S. Um post links to your game in an advertising forum.

Bye for real!  tongue

Just use the circle or square tools.

Re: Shape Fixer

This is known as "vector smoothing" -- Just get Inkscape and use the pencil tool with smoothing, adjust the thickness (or "stroke") and export it as a bitmap and import into Scratch.

Circle was just an example, there are many other shapes this could do.

My goal was to have the paint editor in Scratch fix the shapes, not inkscape.

One problem I see with this is that some people don't want their shape fixed, and if this does somehow get implemented, how is Scartch going to do this?

Other than that, I like your suggestion. There have been many times where this would have been useful.

Well there could be a button next to the undo, and redo buttons, that turns the fixer on and off.

But you have a good point!  smile

P.S.

   LOL SCARTCH!

      LOL!

What if it's supposed to be sloppy?

A button in-between undo and redo, that turns fixer on and off.

Re: Shape Fixer

This is impossible, because it can't discover exactly what they want still.
