Scratch should have a "stop all scripts until 1 second" or something, not just stop all scripts and end the game because it's hard work putting stop script, and even then, you still cannot make the script turn on again unless you broadcast before you stop the script and when you receive you wait...so...

Anyway, I like your idea, but I think that it would be a bit hard to implement into Scratch.

Nice idea, but this is already possible in Scratch. Let me quote Lightnin from a suggestion a while back:

I don't think having a title "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" is suitable.
I'm against it. You can use the timer to do that and when 2.0 comes out, there's a block "stop all my scripts".

I never thought of that. I was always thinking of it as "stop all scripts for [x] seconds".

uh... "stop" and "for [x] seconds" don't go together in my book.
