Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Any thoughts?

I actually like this game, because it's the only Platformer in the Zelda Series.

What are your thoughts on the game?  wink

Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Any thoughts?

I was never a fan of Zelda. I prefer linear a to b gameplay like Mario but I quite caught onto Zelda II and finished almost half of it on my mates NES

Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - Any thoughts?

Aren't the newer ones platformer-esque? (Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess)

They're just 3D platformers.

No. They aren't. They are actually just regular adventure games.

It's like How great banjo-kazooie and tooie were, and then nuts and bolts came along.
The relationship is that people hated it just because they were different.
Nuts and Bolts was great for WHAT IT WAS, and so was adventure of link.
It WAS definitely the hardest, though.

If you want something to do while Scratch is down, check out tbgs.tk! It's the new version of the (closed) Scratch TBGS, run by Scratchers! I'm going to spend most of my time there, anyway.

I love wario land 4 from the ambassador program, but this isn't the right place to talk about it.

Don't necropost, especially if you're not going to add anything to the discussion.
