Hi everyone, I'm making a new game: Super Stickio Bros. Deluxe! If you haven't played the orignal (Super Stickio Bros.), it's a platformer where you controled a terribly drawn Mario stickman. The game's mechanic was a drawing feature that let you draw lines for Stickio to stand on. I was planning to make another game- Super Stickio 2D Land, but it drove too far away from what made the first game so great. So I'm returning the series with this game.
This time around, the biggest feature is that it will have 100 levels. Yep, you heard me right, 100 levels. To avoid the levels being compressed when uploaded, I'm gonna make the game online once Scratch 2.0. is released. But I don't want to wait that long to start on the game. Therefore, I'm going to get the level design done early- with a little help. I'm going to make 50 of the levels, while my fellow Scratchers make the other 50.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Levels completed: 0/50
Level designers:
15matawal - 0/3 levels completed
beyblade4 - 0/3 levels completed
stor - 0/3 levels completed
MilkandCheeseLove - 0/3 levels completed
Bowser_Jr - 0/3 levels completed
You "complete" a level when you upload it.
HOW TO MAKE A LEVEL
Just draw up a level in a image editor of your choice. Make sure it fills up the Scratch screen dimesions (480x360). Also, think creatively. Try to make levels that take advantage of the drawing ability. (For examples, look at the orignal game. The shinking and growing concept won't be in Deluxe.) You can make up to three levels.
Right now, in your levels you can use:
Terrain:Anything that isn't lava or the mushroom. Stickio walks on this, obviously.
Lava:Another obvious feature. Stickio dies when he touches it. (Make sure to make it red on your maps!)
Mushroom:Required on all maps. This is the exit to the level. (You don't have to draw a mushroom, just mark where the mushroom should go with yellow)
Click here for the dev kit! You can import your levels into it (just make a new costume in the "Level" sprite) and test them.
Coming soon: a level uploader on my website. Until then just upload the level to an image hoster (preferably Tinypic or Dropbox) and post them below.

IMPORTANT:
By the time you read this, this topic will be closed. I'm canceling the collab part of the game and will continue work myself. However, if you would still like to make/submit a level, go to the dev kit project and leave a link to the level (as a image file) in a comment. Thanks for the help, everybody!

OK, so I'll start on one of my levels! When do you want the first one done by?

@above There's not really a set deadline yet, but it's when I finish my levels and the scripting for the game(as I said in the OP, I won't get started until Scratch 2.0.). So there's quite a bit of time.

Well, you can make up to three levels, so you might be able to fit the entire volcano into those 3 levels. And you can do the eruption part, you just have to script it yourself. (This goes to anyone who wants to add effects like that in their levels)

This might be a bump, but IDK.

I've been bumping a lot lately, so I consider this a bop, not a bump.

Can I bump? By the way, I'm working on the levels.

I'm thinking of making the amount of levels per person higher, perhaps 5? Remember, you don't have to do ALL the levels. But this way, I wouldn't need as much people to work on the levels, only ten.
(Yes! Finally made something useful instead of a bump!)
