This is very important for me. I'm feeling ignored. No one reads my Show and Tell topics. No one cares about my other posts. Most of my projects were viewed only by a few people. In fact, even SentenceSynthesier is now dead and forgotten. I think no one will notice it when I quit scratching... WHY?
Maybe because of my username? Is filo5 wrong? Why? Because of only small letters and numbers in it? Look at golfer3. Small letters and a number in the username, but his posts have sooo many views.
Maybe it's about I haven't been on forums too much? I had no time for that, but now I have.
So, Community of Scratch, WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!

Maybe it's about I haven't been on forums too much? I had no time for that, but now I have. - The way you get more views is to be on the forums ALOT. And, not just one forum.

No one thinks there is anything wrong with you. The same thing happens to me, but I get over it, and I get views. I have like no love-its, but I don't care. I'm doing it to have fun. I will admit, if I could post now what I could post a long time ago, I would be over flowing with love-its. Try advertising. Make a website. Advertise on youtube, and flickr, or even Runescape. (I hate runescape, but alot of people do that, so)
I hope you solve your dilemma, and I hope I solve mine. XD

You know, it's almost funny watching you presenting stupid arguments about how you feel ignored, people look at topics that look interesting and they also look for scratchers they know, remember, everyone started from nothing, but it's the choices people made that gets them where they are. If you are complaining about how no one looks at your projects, then that means you didn't make the right decision. I started from nothing, and I make great games, but hardly anyone looks at them. However my account is new, so it will take time, but you just have to be patient.

Wyluzuj filo5. Wystarczy, że będziesz udzielał się na forum, komentował projekty, a wkrótce więcej ludzi będzie oglądać twoje dzieła.
Jeszcze jedno, pomniejsz swój signature pod postami bo może on trochę denerwować innych.

Sorry, I forgot about that.
"Cheer up filo5. If you post in the forums, comment on projects, you will surely get more views on your creations.
One more thing, make your signature under posts a bit smaller, cause it can be annoying for some people."
Sorry again>

Yes, like I made this really cool programming language called ScratchText, and it took me hours, and it has 10 views! So don't feel like you're the only person this happens to, because your not.

I'm sorry but I don't think calling somebody's statements "stupid" is necessary. Please respect other users.
But Filo5, Fireball is right, it takes time and patience. People are generally interested in users they know. Most of the people who visit my page now are my old Scratch friends or users that remember me from the times when I was a "hit". Make some friends on Scratch and I'm sure they will visit your stuff frequently.

nothing is wrong. i've been on the front page once, but the front page doesn't neccessarily mean that the projects on it are the best. i worked 8 months on one project and the project that got on the front page was like a ten second ad. don't be too hard on yourself, after all people sure are paying attention to THIS forum post

nothing....

Having many views in your forum topics could mean several things. It could mean that you love to spam and bump your topic to the top excessively. Or it could mean that the topic seems fascinating so people decide to learn about it. It is also important to have an interesting title that draws attention - note that there is a fine line between lying and creativity.

it's probably cuz your boring. I couldn't finish reading your posts as I almost fell asleep while I tried. Nah just kidding, your topic titles aren't intresting enough to catch people's attention.

Hours? I've spent weeks on projects to get 3 views but I'm not annoyed about it. Don't worry, just be very friendly, try to get better at scripting and have a good time, scratch is for learning not trying to be famous.

Weeks? ALL my projects take 2-6 weeks and I'm not famous. It's not about how good your project is, it's how flashy it is

Weeks?!? I've spent months on projects
no really I have! You are right however flashy matters more now a days than good although sometimes you can find a gem burried in the rubble
Anyway back on topic, just work hard actively use the forums don't annoy people and you'll get popularity after a while

Oh dear, I didn't mean to start an argument, next someone will claim to have worked a whole year on something, however, I would like to point out that actually being quick is better, it shows that you are a good programmer, as long as the project is high quality.
