We shall not start until Posso returns from his 'holiday'. For now, all participants should begin splitting into teams. First, a vote shall take place between:
2 teams of 4 people,
4 teams of 2 people,
and an all out Free For All.
Feel free to vote anytime until we have figured out the teams. The category shall be decided by majority rule. (Whichever has the most votes) Also, please remember, Friendly Fire is likely to take place, as there are no in-game teams (Red and Blue from Battle mode) in communities.
(BTW: This is a Racing tourney, not a battle tourney) Any questions?

how are we gonna figure out the teams if we don't know if it's going to be free for all, 2 person or 4 person?

I meant that team making will not take place until after the voting, so I said to go ahead and vote so we can figure out teams afterward.(I should have been more specific)

@Everyone: I'm pretty sure that the tourney will be a free for all. After tallying up the current votes, I found that 50% of the participants have voted in its favor, and the other categories haven't had any votes. I also believe that a free for all would be more effective, as we could score based on how many points each person has total in the community. Also, friendly fire wouldn't be a problem, as there are no friends in a free for all. We shall have a free for all tournament, unless one of the other options suddenly receives a lot of popular demand.

That might not be enough of a heads up for everyone, so we'll have to find a way to notify them before tommorow. (Can anyone use Swapnote?) If we can get everyone's attention, then the tourney can commence as soon as possible. We can then figure out a time that suits all.

@Posso: Thats why I asked that everyone would post their FCs in the beginning, but I figured later that we would be alright without them.
I think we will need to make a new community so that there are no points from our past races on the leaderboard already.
