Following My Dream

So far in my life I have been making comics, working for Mattel, doing stuff on the computer and reading books that I have gotten. Oh, and by the way, did I mention you I have my own site too? (will not give link, forget the name) But you know most important thing I have wanted to do in my life? I wanted to follow my dreams! I wanted to sign up for Scratch the minute I got on that computer! I wanted to show those people how good I could be at making projects! Hits so far: 2 remixes on one of my project 5 comments 1 tagger on one of my projects I'm actually getting pretty good at this kinds of stuff! Remember to click love-it on my projects and subscribe! See ya around! ~Ryan Robbins

Re: Following My Dream

Um, well there is no "subscribing" on Scratch.  tongue  (Be cool if there were, though. Then people would actually probably use friends lists properly.) And you seem to be hungry for the commonly wanted thing on Scratch: Fame.

Now, as ftf841 stated above, Scratch is not about fame. It's about making friends, showing and expressing your creativity with the world, and of course, learning something.  smile

I hope you enjoy being on Scratch!

Bye 1.4!

Re: Following My Dream

Hello.

Scratch isn't all about, or even remotely close to being about fame.
It's about programming and making friends. Most who crave fame don't end up getting it. Just make projects, enjoy yourself, and if you make good projects, and are lucky, very lucky, you make become "Famous." But, since it is impossible to define what "Famous" is, a not-so-popular user can consider themselves famous because their project got frontpaged ONCE, not a billion times. So, the sole purpose of scratch, therefore is having fun.
Also, there is not "Subscribing". Well, there is, but using it is unheard of.

Re: Following My Dream

I dream of darkness and puppies. With rabies. I guess it's nice that you can follow your dream. Mine is generally frowned upon.

Re: Following My Dream

Welcome to Scratch! It isn't about fame, as many above have said, but you can make the best projects you can and anticipate for constructive comments and different opinions. That's better than fame on Scratch. Anyways, welcome!
