I didn't see the opening ceremony :[ I missed it. Was it good? My parents and my sister saw it, My sister liked it, parents hated it.

Watched a bit of Cycling while eating waffles. It was awesome. I'm really excited for swimming this afternoon.

I am watching cycling.

Recording almost everything from this today and tomorrow. 


I almost got to go to this. Wished I hadn't said no. 

Almost everyone I know agrees that it was rubbish

Well i at least want a reason Why we have the Olympics.

Greece came up with the idea to honor the Gods in Mount Olympus, however the idea eventually became a secular competition.

It's a friendly competition between the countries of the world to forget differences for a while and have fun.

Many times wars have been put on hold during the Olympics, even.

Also, I've never seen an opening ceremony.

Not trying to be offensive but the Olympics is about the world in celebration, not just the host country.

I was joking lol. But Olympics never seemed to be about all countries working together. It seemed like all countries going against each other, with one winner.

Yeah, but the Opening Ceremony is about the host country's identity. And if it was multicultural, celebrating the world's identity I fear you may not have liked it-I think you're looking for something similar to your own country.
Also you can't complain about a country and then say 'Not trying to be offensive...'
