Quoting on the Forums--Possible Hack?

By copying the code for quoting, you can make it sound like someone said something they didn't.

An example:

Sample wrote:

I DIDN'T REALLY SAY THIS!!!!!

All by clicking to quote someone else's post and then changing the names and text.  Is there any way around this?

Just wondering.

No, but people can always verify if the post you are supposedly quoting exists or not. It's like if I said: "Bill Gates will give you 1 million dollars if you reply to this". Would you believe me if there was no way for you to confirm that Bill Gates indeed send that? I hope not :-)

I often delete part of the text and leave only the part I want to reply to. I do not think people would do this - why would they?  smile

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>
