I just uploaded a Part 1 of my new series, World of Gummy. As I am, I want to get straight to working on the next project. It is a game this time, not an animation. It is based on the app in the App Store (not sure about Android Market), called Tiny Defense. It's basically about different types of cute little robots trying to protect their property from becoming a tourist attraction (I think) from some enemies, known as Machines.
But in my case, it won't be about cute little robots and Machines. It'll be about words. Words defending their land from the evil numbers from NumberVille (probably should work on that name). Their will probably be 10 levels in each section, and maybe 4 sections. Each level gets harder and harder. New robots and items and upgrades will be achieved and available to get when you progress.
That's all I will reveal for now. If you have any ideas, please let me know in this forum topic. I am open to any suggestion. Also, if you want, you could help me out with graphics.
Graphics:
Basically like Scrabble letter tiles, but instead of the letter taking up the whole space, it'll take up some of the space. A cute face will take up the rest (or most).

Thanks. I have started to put more effort into my animations and games so that they will get more attention. My newest project, an animation that introduced a new series called World of Gummy, has 30 views and 7 love its in 2 days. That's probably because I spent a lot of time on it, including the graphics and sound effects. This game, Word Defense, will be the first of my many upcoming games that will be really great and fun. Do you have any suggestions?

Progress report: I have finished the menu (with Start and Help) and it has a special feature. I also finished the first tutorial, and the second menu (with Play Now, Options, etc) and that also has a special feature (that I'm currently working on). I'll post another report either later today or tomorrow.

Yeah, good point. But let's just say that one of them took a wrong turn (or 90 degrees I should say) and ended up as an enemy to the other.

My suggestions:
1). Maybe make wave 1 have 1's, wave 2 have 2's, wave 3 have 3's, ect..
2). Maybe their could be some in game currency which you earn for beating each section, which then can be spent in a shop.
3). Multiple paths.
4). Some way to earn extra money to buy more towers with. Maybe a gold mine, an option to pay $100 to increase your income by 15%, ect...
5). Regular, fast, tough and boss enemies.

I think you should make it so that there is a grid where you can put your words or letters and then those are what make the path. It would make it harder to program because you would have to add a pathfinder but I think it would make it much better

Well, this is similar to a tower game, but not exactly like one. You choose allies to put down (that attack or help you) and each time you defeat an enemy, there is a chance of getting energy or bolts (energy lets you buy more [in game] allies) (bolts allow you to buy upgrades, such as more chances of getting energy by defeating an enemy). Bolts will be awarded after each level completed.

That's a good idea, but I'm going to add a grid, where you put your word tiles (allies) on squares. I don't know how to do the second part of your suggestion, I'll think about it.

Perhaps each number could have different attributes... Like maybe 1 is normal, 2 is fast, 3 is strong, 4 can heal others, 0 is a boss...

Yeah, I was going to do something like that. 1 will have a special design (it won't just be the number one, maybe it'll be in a robot costume, or have a special body design) and have some sort of attack, and have maybe a low health. Maybe I will do the enemy number (if it is a 1, 1) times 2 or 3, and the product will be the health...

Ok, sorry for the long mini-break. Today is Thursday for me, so tomorrow and the weekend, I'll try to work on Word-Defense. It may be partially cancelled because I got a new laptop ( ) and I already started a new game on it (I apparently have Scratch already pre-installed on it :S). Once I am finished with that game, I'll post Word Defense on my test account, then download it on my laptop, and continue to work on it.
