here's some concept art for the totem pokemon I mentioned earlier. Tote-all(temp name) would be all the others, stacked.

of course it can be worked on.
In fact, I posted it so it could be worked on.
(also to show why I shouldn't do spriting)

Here I changed it up and showed the final sprite of it
Here is the sprite picture, but it's small so it looks weird, I need to edit it

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Great work, everybody! You guys are doing great. I made this engine that has pokemon style scrolling with it scrolls but then you can go to a different area. I think that could be a good scrolling engine.

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/maxdoss/2683698 I think we could get rid of velocity though.

And, we could upload the file to mediafire, and then make a project with the download link so they can play it. We could do the same with the 3rd one. And before I was thinking that in the SEa version, Team [blank] captures the Sea one, and then you use the Land one to fighting and return the world to normal, and vice versa.

Do we have a generic normal-type pokemon yet?
Like ratata for gen I or bidoof for gen IV?

My tablet arrived just now!! I can start on the picture of all of us!  big_smile
...once I do these two things:

1) I need to get used to the tablet, as it's quite a transition
2) (I'm going to need all of your help on this) ...I need to know your genders. This is only so I know whether to make your Pokemon representation more feminine or masculine. If you don't feel comfortable sharing that information, that's totally acceptable, just tell me.  smile
(Just to set this in stone: yes; I am, in fact, a girl ;D )

I guess this is proof that, yes, the majority of Pokemon-lovers are male. XP
I honestly believe it's only because children are stereotyped all of the time: girls are given Barbie dolls and boys are given Spiderman action-figures.  tongue

I'm making a big picture of everyone in the collab; each persion will be represented by the Pokemon of their choice. (Speaking of which, what Pokemon would you like to be?)
I need to know everyone's gender so I know whether to make their Pokemon representation lean towards a more male or female look.  wink

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Alright, people.
LAST CALL 'till I start on the picture! Is there anyone who has not stated their Pokemon and/or gender?
...because if you don't say what gender you are, I'll make the Pokemon neutral, and if you don't even say what Pokemon you are, you will not be included in the picture.

Seriously, this is the last time I will ask, so if you haven't told me either of those things, don't put it off!

*EDIT*
If you want to change your Pokemon, this is also the time to say it!

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Guys, I should probably tell you: I am now working on a second pokemon game besides this one. I think that one will be my focus, sorry guys. Plus I'm busy IRL, and I can't handle both.
You can still use my battle menu and all my sprites, and good news, I will continue uploading sprites. Any sprite in the land/sea fakemon project you guys can use.

I probably won't post here and I won't be fixing others sprites. Sorry!
