Galleries Survey
I think the galleries feature isn't used very much anymore, but is still a great feature. Here's a survey you can fill out, because I want to know how galleries are used by Scratchers.
1. Do you use galleries often?
2. What do you use them for? Please elaborate.
3. Do you browse galleries often?
4. Have you ever looked through the featured galleries?
5. Have you ever suggested a gallery to be featured?
6. How many galleries do you own?

1. Not very often.
2. I have two galleries for projects that I feel other Scratchers should see (I prefer it to using my favorites).
3. Not often.
4. When a subject catches my interest, yeah.
5. Twice if I remember correctly, but at least once.
6. 3, and I have one bookmarked.

I don't really use them, but I use them for projects that are the same, but aren't by the same user.
3. Do you browse galleries often?
No.
4. Have you ever looked through the featured galleries?
No.

1. Not really :L
2. Mainly when I interact with a gallery it's me adding a project I like into my Picks gallery or a gallery where I put a large supply of decent games.
3. Not really, though when I get added to one I tend to look at what else is in there.
4. Yes, though not consistently. It depends on the themes I guess
5. Maybe, I'm not sure
6. Four, though I only add stuff to two (the picks and games ones). Of the others, one's an old company gallery that I keep for the sake of it and the other's a list of curator picks.

I think galleries are quite useful and I would be extremely mad/sad to see them go away. They host SDS, allow for collections of projects (like Playlists) and are an organiser's best friend.

Yeah. Think about it: If we didn't have galleries, then there'd be no SDS, no SDS curators, SDS ideas. That word would never exist: SDS (Scratch Design Studios)

1. Occasionally I will make a gallery.
2. Several different things. I once tried a remixing gallery, so people could remix until a project becomes amazing.
3. Not really. Sometimes I look at other galleries.
4. Very rarely. Once or twice.
5. No, I don't even know how.
6. I own 14, but most of them were some time ago.

Eh, so-so. Sometimes I'm in a mood to continue building my galleries, other times, no.

I use them mostly as a way to organize some of my favorites or organize my own projects.
3. Do you browse galleries often?
Sure, it's a cool way to find new faves.
4. Have you ever looked through the featured galleries?
Sometimes. It depends if I find the gallery interesting.
5. Have you ever suggested a gallery to be featured?
No. ^^;
6. How many galleries do you own?
Four.

1. Yes, indeed. I think that it's a great way to attract interest to your projects without having to advertise on the forums or on other people's projects.
2. I use them for all kinds of things! Collabs, RPGs, grouping projects with similar themes, organizing my own projects, making groups or clubs, and sometimes just showcasing projects I love.
3. I frequently visit the galleries page of the scratch website.
4. I very rarely look at that part.
5. Nope, never.
6. 24! But several are no longer relevant or in use, so that may become 20 soon.
I disagree that galleries are not in use as much. I find it to be one of the best features of the scratch website.
