Well. We all weren't that active. I was a bit busy lately. And in addition to that, I focused on other projects like the German Scratch Wiki. But now I've got time for you. It would be really sad, if this project would die out again. So let's focus on improving the shop before we go forward to the AI. Clicking on the shoppable planets is very laggy yet. trinary. You're a good programmer. Could you please make clicking on them easier? Since this is done, we could make more plants shoppable and then improve the functionality of the shop.
Greatings, dbs
I'll try doing that.

Greatings, dbsIf we're going to be doing anything with the mouse, we should switch the controls to wasd and maybe leave arrow keys possible, but not recommended (If you know what I mean).
What?

When you use the mouse and keyboard at the same time in a game, it's typically easier to use w-a-s-d (Unless you use your mouse left-handed, in which case you'll want to use arrow keys). It's just uncomfortable having both hands to the right of the keyboard.

Oh. Nice idea. Maybe we should make a "options" menu in the game, in which you can regulate this, mute the sound and do other things that might also come up in the further game process.

That could be nice too. I'll do that as soon as trinary is done.

Elite seems to be getting hard to do, should we put it aside and instead make a small, simple game/animation. Then we can work on elite again.

What? Why should we start a new project while trinary is working on the next version of our actual game?

I guess everyone just wants a break. I'm fine either way.

Is "everyone" only christian2000?

Oh trinary! At least say, that you haven't enough time or something, but please don't let this threat die out!

Maybe we should move our discussion to a gallery or a project, that way we get notified if someone replies to something we say. Just a suggestion, I know that the forums have their advantages too.

Probably releasing a beta or alpha would like help? Maybe you can get some suggestions, even help from scratchers and as a + you can see how the game will act on flash player.
(Sorry that i abandoned this, i can;t help on it anymore, got into Game Maker and RPG maker VX ace and i already released some pretty good games with them)

I think noone likes to work on this project anymore. Maybe we should do what happy said and release a cleaned version of the pre alpha, that we now have, and work on something new.

Possibly. I think that if we want to do that we should at least make some goal to it first. Since nobody seems to be able to get the shop working right, we could scrap that and get some basic enemies in there. Now that I think about it, that's probably our problem: We're trying to fix the shop, but nobody want's to fix the shop. So maybe we should just come back to the shop later.

I know. It's a shame. But it seems, that I'm not the only person, who lost interest on this project. I think we should upload it and make it open source, so that everybody, who wants, can finish and rimix it. That's the best. What do you think?
