Yeah. That one freaks me out. Plus it's a total rip-off of my childhood favorite "Bob the builder".

What about XP? Man, Microsoft is going to make a patent on that someday and we'll never be able to express how laughing and tongue-out we are at the same time on the internet.

i think it is disney trying to appeal to the XD-using kids
that is their audience after all

Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse has a much more severe case of that imo

People actually watch Disney Channel?
Wow...
People have opinions, you know.

Posted in the Gravity Falls thread:
I usually turn on Disney Channel out of boredom or a background noise. I think the sitcoms have brainwashed me. I think I'll go to some other channel to be brainwashed, like Nickelodeon.
I'm reeaalllyy too lazy to try another channel.

They should just stick to 2D. Doing 3D for the sake of doing 3D usually doesn't result in anything worthwhile

I don't like all those dumb sitcoms.
See, here is how to make a Disney sitcom:
1. Make a main character.
2. Make sure the main character is gifted in some way, for example, have them be a popstar, be in a band, have a TV show, be a king, live in the whitehouse, in a reality show, advanced natural talents, professional dancers, psychics, wizards, angels, anything like that.
3. Give the main character a love interest, in one of three scenarios:
-They are trying to impress them but failing
-They are good friends so it is too awkward for them to go out
-They did go out at one point, but they broke up and now they hate eachother. (Make sure there is an awkward plot device where they get back together for one episode)
4. Other characters:
-Academics obsessed friend
-Fashion obsessed selfish diva
-Sporty bully jock
-Weird kid that is a joke character
-A 'Charlie Brown' (one who never wins)
-Young troublemaker who is somehow an evil genius (likely a little brother or sister)
5. Make sure that:
-Only straight people exist
-Foreign people are greatly misrepresented
-All labels are super stereotypical
6. Don't forget, they can only have ONE parent. And they have to be an embarrassment. To make it better, if it is a dad make him a fat, lazy, gluttonous slob, and if it is a mother, make her unable to cook.
Its true. I could write a disney show that would be exactly like what you'd see on the channel. The only show that really breaks these rules is Good Luck Charlie. They are just a family, nothing special, with TWO parents and fewer stereotypes. That show is decent as far as Family Channel goes.
Excellent oberservations wiimaster. ^^ Somewhere, a plank of wood throbs... because you just hit that nail on the head!

Yeah, you can apply the same thing for the Disney channel movies, but with one rule: it HAS to have a kissing scene at the end. Heck, even the Phineas and Ferb movie had one!

Don't forget at some point there must be an episode where they either go somewhere forign or get lost on a road trip. Oh, and at some point, a pet will be introduced. Most likely a dog.

I really only like Phineas and Ferb and Good Luck Charlie. Phineas and Ferb, because it stands out... Good Luck Charlie, because it's just about an ordinary family instead of some kid who is way better than everyone else, but has to work really hard. Actually, the only other show I kind of like is Gravity Falls. It's kind of good, funny in some parts, and I actually do like the characters. :3

Phineas and Ferb is horribly formulaic
Gravity Falls may not be the best show ever but at least it doesn't try too hard

Cats are horribly underrated in Disney productions.

Aside from The Aristocats, Figaro (from Pinnochio) and Mittens in BOLT, cats are evil.
