I keep asking the curator nicely to put my project on the front page, but he is ignoring my comments. PLZ HALP MEH!

Your projects aren't always going to be curated; the curator can only curate really good projects. He cannot curate all the projects suggested to him: The curator isn't being mean, he's just doing his job. Somebody else might deserve the front page more than you, you know? Just keep trying, you'll get there someday.

If I don't get front paged by scratch 2.0, I'll make one last project, and quit for a month

No offense, but when I looked through your 12 pages, pretty much all of them were remixes--none were actual games, simulations, or animations.

Hint: The best way to get homepaged is to leave friendly and constructive comments on other Scratcher's projects. Then they'll check out yours. With their feedback, you can get better, which gets more views, more feedback, better projects -- it's a cycle like that.

There are a few reasons for that. One of them is that curators always get lots of messages telling them to curate their projects.

Ah, yes, that's true. What people really like to see are some games and some animations. Those are REALLY Worthy of getting front paged. Trust me, I've been front paged 5+ times. If you don't know how to lip sync/animation, check out Dialgaman's How to Lip Synch.

Hey man, Scratch isn't about fame. Sure, it's nice to have, but that's not why people join. People join to share their creativity and have fun with programming. Quitting is NOT the answer.

That's true. If you do that, you might start getting more views.
Hope this helps.

Scratch isn't about fame. The famous Scratchers joined YEARS ago. You're not gonna get famous anytime soon.

Not all of them. I can't think of any old Scratchers who're famous on the Main Site.

You can't quit Scratch simply because the curator didn't curate your project; the curator is in the position to decide which projects get chosen, not you. Please keep in mind that the curators get tons and tons of messages a day from people like you who want their projects curated, and he won't get to yours instantaneously. I should know because I was a curator earlier this year and I was backed up with comments for all of my two-week position.
If you wish to get more views on your projects, try making something that will be captivating; such as a fun game. It has to be something that will be of interest to the Scratch community. If you want some ideas, try looking at the Top Viewed, Loved, and Remixed lists. When I started out on Scratch I used to make really n00by projects with default sprites and sounds, but when I never got any views on my projects, I started to catch on and started to make interesting projects that Scratchers enjoy, and now I get a fair amount of views and in addition, I was recently frontpaged for the first time.
I hope this helps

Another thing you can do is just post a lot on the forums and advertise a project in your forum signature with alink

That's how I got famous. Made a few friends, gave feedback, and suddenly a friend becomes curator and voila! I'm front paged!

Well, you become friends with a lot of Scratchers, post a lot on these forums, make a signature advertising your projects, and post helpful feedback to your friends' projects, and...
You're on the front page...

In that case, you could ask someone to make one for you in the Requests forum.
