Navigating Scratch

I am taking a course in SCRATCH and am the kind of learner who needs  step-by-step guidance. I have several projects that are stumping me.

First I design a 2-pong SCRATCH game, using two paddles (with same coordinates). Next, when the game is over, I have to change the background to YOU WIN!!

No problem...

My problem lies in the fact that I must make the ball and "paddle" disappear at the end of the game.

I'm tried every combination known to man(but the right one). Help!!!

My next project: Design a spaceship that lands... hmm

Re: Navigating Scratch

Hey ZNJefferson, welcome to the Scratch website!

To help you with your problem: Simply design a script that, when the game is over, the sprite hides or the ghost effect of the sprite is set to 100%.  smile

These are the blocks I'm talking about, they should help (they're under the 'Looks' section):

<hide>
<set[ ghost ]effect to( 100

Everything is better when you add a little cheddar, because when you have cheese your life is at ease  smile
