Uninstall and delete your current version of Scratch, and re-download it. If the problem persists, post again.`

It says, "Squeak cannot locate the sources file named /Applications/Scratch 1.4/SqueakV2sources. Please check that the file is named properly and is in the same directory as this image. Further explanation can be found in the start-up window, "How Squeak finds source code.
Then it has a button that says OK beneath it.
Then when you click it the program shuts off...

Either your applications folder, Scratch 1.4 folder, and/or SqueakV2sources file were deleted, corrupted, or moved.
You could either uninstall, then reinstall the Scratch program, or attempt to recover the other files. I would suggest the former, as it is easier, faster, and there's no risk of losing anything else.
So long as you don't delete the folder(s) that your ".sb" Scratch Projets are being kept, you will not lose any projects.

Did you NOT press save image for end user?
›Just open a new scratch project with the scratch cat
›Click in the loop of the R in the scratch logo
›click save image for end user

Run the program as an administrator. I had the same glitch, and it worked for me. Glad I had it though, it's what got me into modding.
