My town got griefed yet again! By a worldedit. Okay sham, I am quitting the server unless you get some protection!

Swell de-opped me because I was putting out a fire that he started in a jungle. He then tp me to a high place then killed me.

I got unfair banned because I deopped superswell because he set fire to my airship twice. I also kept telling him that i'm not having a war, and thats when he put out the blazes which set my ship on fire the 2nd time. Daimondhunter00 said that he/she would OP us both back if we stopped tping to each other and didn't destroy each others stuff, which I didn't do. We agreed and then he set my ship on fire again with blazes. He then said that I was being that jerk all day. He then banned me.


The worst part is: He was bribed by an 8 year old to do it.

I HIGHLY recommend the plugin Essentials. There is a REASON that plugin has that name. I think every server I've been on uses Essentials. Essentials allows for a good player experience, along with some useful admin commands as well.

Also, I recommend WorldGuard or iZone (if you don't already have either one of them). They will prevent spawn from being blown up all the time. Also, you should block TNT and flint-and-steel, because this isn't a raid server, it's survival.

Lastly, but not least, this server should have PERMISSIONSEX. If you don't already have it. PermissionsEx is a really nice way to handle player permissions, and you can easily fix this "not permitted to build" problem too. Plus, PermissionsEx is extremely user-friendly--you can even handle permissions IN-GAME. Now isn't that neat?

So yeah. Vanilla servers may be nice some of the time, but there's gotta be some sort of plugin that protects the server, right?

Zone plugins do nothing to stop houses from being griefed. Without a block logging plugin there is no way to stop people from griefing. Also, go look on the videos of "professional" griefers like Team Avolition. They don't blow stuff up, they make a ton of gold or diamond tools and just break everything.

well, they do blow stuff up when tnt is allowed and they know of a dupe glitch

I was bribed by my little brother to set a tiny fire for 5 seconds then put it out after it. I did half of this stuff. I banned you after you and Daimond destroyed my airship. So we are actually both guilty. Plus I put blazes to GUARD my ship and the blazes then went over to your ship out of my control cause our ships our close together.

I didn't destroy your ship. Daimond destroyed all of the ships using world edit, which i couldn't do.

Aaaaaand no build permissions.

guys, seriously. Unban and reop jwk2007. I want to get back on and help!
