Scratch

I have tried to  download scratch many times now, but it always get stuck at 23.5 (61%), I have a mac 0S X (10.3.9).  Also, I'm using Firefox, if that changes anything. I tried it with Safari, that didn't work (it just got stuck at 9.6) then I tried it with Internet Explorer and that went all the way up to 26.5 but then said that it was "waiting for data".
