We Like New Scratchers, Too!
Almost every time I look at featured projects, I see a character or username I recognize. And then, I go to a really good project and see that their other projects have, like, 1 view each. I think whoever is reading this, probably knows where I'm going, but I'll say it anyway. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS. New scratchers probably would jump for joy if they found 5 views. Others might say "Finally!" once their projects reach the front page because most of their projects do. My suggestion? Add a Random Project section. I know what this is what Featured Projects is supposed to be doing, but it's not. Like I said, I see something I recognize every time. Make a section that just picks out a completely random, project, something different every time you look on the page. I know that the chances of this happening are probably about as good as winning the lottery, but I think it should be done.

ImagineIt, I dont think he's searching for the actual surprise section, he is suggesting it be implemented again.
I think that this would be a cool thing to have, although there should be some restrictions.
-project must be < 2 days old.
-project must be appropriate for the community
-project must be by a "new scratcher"
we could call it "projects by New Scratchers"

that's right! all of us were once new scratchers, too!
I remember when I would share mine right at 11:30 so that kids on lunch at school would see them, because I didn't get many views.
