does anyone know when scratch 1.4 beta will be out?

does anyone actually know when scratch1.4 beta will be released or can give me any links to it.

Some people have it, I don't sadly. They asked some people to do it and they gave some away at the scratch day at MIT. Just wait till the real thing, it's only a few weeks away.

The real thing will come out in June. The beta came out AGES ago. They haven't released it publically, though, and I don't have it.

Let's just wait patiently and it will come out in no time!
That's what my mum would say, and I'd say:
Let's bug the Scratch team about it so they let out an unfinished version that's 40% done...
We could also:
Make chain projects/comments and pass them on around the website. That wouldn't do ANY good, but might even drive some people crazy.

I don't think that sending the beta to each other is a good idea; If the Scratch team didn't let it out to the public, let's keep it away from the public. Not doing so usually only leads to troubles.

I aske this question to paddle2see and he said June but he didnt know the date!!

Because Paddle2See didn't help in the development. He's sort of a partial Scratch Team member who doesn't belong at MIT.

And the answer is (according to an email I got): "Scratch 1.4 is nearing completion and should be out in June, so the beta test portion is almost complete." - May 20, 2009

scratch 1.4 prerelease is out today, under the form search type in scratch 1.4 download. Projects work online! The Final version of scratch 1.4 will be out by the end of the month. The final version will get rid of any bugs they find.
